Jessica attempting to put her life back together following the death of Kilgrave at her own hands. In the process, Jessica discovered a new adversary, one she couldn't defeat with a straightforward punch: Alisa, Jessica's own mother, long thought dead, but secretly living with powers and anger issues of her own.  Alisa offers her daughter a wish for a brighter future right before she's shot in the head by Trish Walker. The rift between Jessica and Trish will be hard to repair, but in a change of game, it was plan of Alisa to separate them, so finally can take revenge on her own daughter, for something that has to deal with her loss of memories. So Jessica decides to became in a hero once again, Jewel, and team up with Trish after getting a mysterious power became Hellcat, to protect their own lives from Alisa.
